Da Windräder ja primär in die freie Landschaft "gestellt" werden, lag natürlich von Beginn an auf der Hand, dass hier evtl. eine Störung stattfinden könnten. In Deutschland fanden zu diesem Zweck umfangreichste Studien statt. Zusammenfassend kann meist folgendes gesagt werden:

Zweifelsohne - für Vögel kann ein Windrad dennoch heikel sein. Aus diesem Grund wird in einem ca. einjährigen Vogelmonitoring beobachtet, welche Arten im betroffenen Gebiet vorkommen bzw. ob Arten vorkommen, die besonders geschützt werden  müssen. The noise from wind turbines

Der Schall wird hier in db(A) gemessen (Dezibel - das "A" steht für "Audible" - "Hörbar"), dies ist jene Skala, die das menschliche Hörempfinden reproduces best. (Excl. wind turbines - System design, integration and regulation, 2003 and Austrian working ring for noise Directive 3 Part 1). This scale is important because another (eg dB (C) has a different meaning now - the values are not the same then).

How is certain that the wind is not too loud?

In Hausleiten sind neue, getriebelose Windräder geplant - tendenziell sinkt die Schallemission, je neuer die Anlage ist - zusätzlich sinkt der Schalldruck (vgl. "Lautstärke") rapide mit der Entfernung. So ergibt sich zum Beispiel die Situation, dass 100m von dieser Gondel entfernt, der Schall bei 50-55db(A) liegt (aus: Windkraftanlagen - Grundlagen, Technik, Einsatz, Wirtschaftlichkeit)

Worauf muss ich achten?

Zusammengefasst lässt sich folgendes sagen: spricht jemand von lauten Windrädern und nennt dabei zB.: 100dB(A) als Wert, ist es naheliegend, dass sich dieser Wert auf den "Lärm" an der Gondel (sprich in ca. 100m Entfernung vom Boden) bezieht (dort wurde der Schall gemessen). Wichtig ist der Wert, der auf Schallkarten angeführt wird bzw. aus Messungen am Boden stammt.

Es mag "hochwissenschaftlich" sein, zumindest schwierig zu durchschauen. Im Interesse des Betreibers ist es jedoch, möglichst sicheren Betrieb zu gewährleisten, denn ansonsten verdient er kein Geld (was den Betreibern ja vorgeworfen wurde). Gleichzeitig gibt es nach der Umsetzung eines Projektes im Gegensatz zu der Phase, in der wir uns derzeit befinden keine Beschwerden mehr. Hier darf Transparenz eingefordert werden, diese ist auch gesetzlich geregelt (Österreichisches Umweltverträglichkeitsgesetz)

In den letzten Jahren musste Österreich 45 Millionen CO² Zertifikate nachkaufen. Offiziell zu einem Preis von €9,-- pro Zertifikat - die Summe können wir uns alle selbst ausrechnen - What may perhaps still "buried" remains.

Aus diversen Gründen ein Statement was die Glaubwürdigkeit dieser Diskussion an sich betrifft. 

Wir diskutieren, argumentieren and inform. At the same time there is a problem - as you argue with people who are counter-arguments, no matter how well-founded and proved they are described as "lies" or "bought"?

So you can make your opinion myself - the data and information are available for everybody.
